The FMAJI (Festival Musical d'Automne de Jeunes Interprčtes - Young Interprets Fall Music Festival) announces its 2010 International Competition.

February 20th and 21st 2010

This competition is opened to competitors nationals of the European Union, or residing and pursuing musical studies in the European Union; they must be born between January 1st, 1984 and December 31, 1995.

Three prizes will be awarded, each prize being in two parts.

The first part is a money reward, for a total amount of 14,050?, made of three prizes of 3,000?, a special prize of 3,050 ? awarded by the "Conseil Général du Val D'Oise" to the all-categories best competitor, a special prize of 1,000 ? awarded by the city of Enghien-les-Bains, for the best contemporary work interpretation and a Public Prize of 1,000 ?, that will be awarded at the end of the concert season.

The second part of each prize is a full season of six concerts as soloists with professional orchestra, in various cities of the Val d'Oise department in fall 2010, usually every other week from end of September to beginning of December except during school holidays.

The two parts of the prizes are indivisible.

The list of musical pieces to be played at the 2010 competition is included in the registration file. Applications are received by postal mail only, by returning the application form also included in this file.
