Chostakovitch Symphony nr. 5 Passages from the 1st and 4th movement
Mozart Symphony nr. 40 Passages from the first and last movement
Berlioz Symphony Fantastique Passage from the 4th movement
Final Round
Original concerto or sonata for the instrument of the candidate's choice
First-sight reading
 
Important Notes All rounds should be performed with the orchestra's intonation: I-G, II-D, III-A, IV-E. A five strings instrument will be accepted, but is not required.
Schedule
December 1, 2007 - 10.00/13.00, 14.00/17.00 and 18.00/22.00

The candidates will perform behind a sreen until the final round of the auditions.
The winner candidate of the audition will be requested to do a trial period.
When confirmed in the position the winner candidate will be given a permanent contract,under the conditions determined by the Portuguese law.
Rehearsing (with piano) and practising facilities available upon request.
The orchestra excerpts will be send to all confirmed candidates.

The candidates will be subject to a pre-selection.

The scores of the orchestral excerpts and detailed information regarding the orchestra and the positions will be sent to all confirmed candidates.
