¡Viva el Bajo! South Texas Double Bass Masterclass will be held at the University of Texas Pan American in Edinburg, TX on March 29 and 30.
George Amorim, the event organizer expects to attract bass players from South Texas and Northern Mexico (Monterrey, Tampico, etc). During the two day event the guest artist Jeff Bradetich will teach master classes, hold a teachers training session and will perform a solo recital on Saturday evening. The two-day event will include a Young Bassist session led by Sonia Ray, solo and orchestral master classes, private lessons for selected students, solo adjudication, workshop for school teachers, performance by the Pan American Double Bass Ensemble and a solo recital by guest artist Jeff Bradetich.
