Audition for invited participants will take place Tuesday 29th Jan. 2008 starting at 10.00 a.m. in Alsion, Alsion 2, DK-6400 Sønderborg. Playing with the orchestra will take place Wednesday 30th Jan. 2008.
All participants are requested to send a tape (with piano accompaniment) to the orchestra containing the following music:
Dittersdorf: Concerto in E Major, 1st and 2nd mov. with cadences of Heinz Karl Gruber.
Mozart: Symphony no. 40 (1st mov. from 20 bar before letter C until 5 bar after). Can be downloaded here.
The tape must be sent to the orchestra together with the application form not later than Thursday 3rd Jan. 2008, and invitations will be sent in week 2.
The audition 29th Jan. 2008 will take place in 2 rounds:
1st round: Dittersdorf: Concerto in E Major, 1st and 2nd mov. with cadenzes
Mozart: Symphony no. 40 (1st mov. from 20 bar before letter C until 5 bar after).
2nd round: Bottesini: 1st mov. of concerto no. 2, b-minor, with cadenza together with
orchestral excerpts. These excerpts will be sent to together with the invitations.
3nd round: Playing with the orchestra will take place 30th Jan. 2008.
Travel and accomodation for the invited participants will be paid by the orchestra.
