Principal Double Bass

Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra (HSO) is situated in the south of Sweden. The orchestra has 59 members and specializes in classical and early romantic music. The leadership of the double bass section is divided between two principals and one co-principal.

Dittersdorf: Concerto in E-major, 1st and 2nd movements with cadenzas by H K Gruber
Koussevitskij: Concerto, 1st movement
or
Bottesini: Concerto in b-minor, 1st movement
Orchestral excerpts / Ensemble test
Date of audition
Tuesday 4 March 2008 and if needed Wednesday 5 March.
